For Global Excel, change management is a key lever for the transformation of the organization. We are looking for a driven candidate who will act as a key player to support the business transformation. He/she will work cross-functionally with various departments, as well as with the project and change management teams to ensure proper alignment and ownership for the change. The primary role is to support in change management strategies and establish plans to support smooth transition, maximize stakeholder engagement and help the business in getting the benefits from the change. She/he is also responsible for the efficient project management of the activities detailed in the change management plan.
What does your typical day look like?
- Contribute to the change management strategy to ensure proper engagement of stakeholders;
- Participate in workshops with key stakeholders to capture impacts of change, readiness, concerns, and ideas;
- Propose and lead execution of appropriate communication plan and tools, and key messages;
- Oversee the deployment of key change management milestones in the different projects and report progression to the Change Management stream lead;
- Identify and analyze change management risks and issues and assess impact on project delivery; contribute to the identification of change management risk and issue management plans;
- Monitor the level of support and engagement of key stakeholders and put in place the appropriate mechanisms to address proactively any resistance/issue/ roadblock;
- Support in planning and execution of change activities (including communications and learning) in collaboration with the training and communication teams to ensure proper understanding and adoption.
What skills and training do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, industrial psychology or equivalent;
- Master's degree in business administration, Change Management or Organizational Development an asset;
- Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus;
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Change Management advisor or specialist;
- Demonstrated experience of supporting change during large and complex business transformations;
- A solid understanding of the organizational and individual change adoption processes;
- Capacity to anticipate and measure change impacts on people and to propose proactive strategies to address them;
- Experience in project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle;
- Excellent listening and communication skills;
- Ability to influence and develop strong relationships based on trust;
- Facilitation skills;
- Very Good verbal and written communication skills (Bilingualism English, and French an asset) English will be used in particular to implement various projects or training courses across our various offices, including those outside Quebec.
