As a Product Owner, you’ll be accountable to build and manage the product backlog and provide business domain expertise and analysis to bring value to the business for the Digital Transformation program. You will also be required to drive the project roadmap and ensure that deliverables are met in a timely fashion as well as report on progress weekly.

What does your typical day look like?

• Ensure product roadmaps are translated into sprints;
• Ability to carry-out and monitor the implementation of the roadmap as per schedule;
• Manage team members deliverables and ensure risks are identified and mitigated;
• Define requirements to meet product roadmaps deliveries;
• Provide deep industry understanding and expertise to support Business and development teams;
• Develop & maintain buy in from internal stakeholder and business owners. Owning the relationship and managing the trust to develop the product.
• The PO will work closely with Stakeholders, Subject matter experts and their development team.

What skills and experience are we looking for?                 

• University Degree or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Product management, team leadership, or any other related role;
• Knowledge of the insurance industry or related service industry experience;
• Proven application of structured approaches to analysis and synthesis of information;
• Very good verbal and written communication skills;
• Agile methodology and Scrum framework experience required;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, internet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira.
