Job Description

Are you a person with a passion for Artificial Intelligence? Are you interested in working in a multilingual, dynamic and friendly environment that encourages personal and professional development? We would love to meet you!

As a Lead Data Scientist, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all AI initiatives align with enterprise architecture standards, business strategy, and regulatory requirements. Operating within a SAFe Agile framework, you’ll provide deep architectural expertise, facilitate delivery across platforms, and support business value realization.

What does your typical day look like?

  • Lead the end-to-end design and validation of AI solutions—whether developed in-house or by third-party vendors—ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs;
  • Develop and operationalize an Agentic Framework for AI use cases to support modular, composable, and autonomous workflows;
  • Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into architectural blueprints and actionable implementation plans;
  • Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to data scientists and engineers working on AI initiatives;
  • Encourage architectural thinking, best practices, and code quality across cross-functional AI efforts;
  • Define integration patterns, orchestration workflows, and MLOps practices that support the seamless deployment of AI workloads across cloud-native and containerized environments;
  • Support Agile Release Trains and development teams by converting architectural strategy into features, enablers, and spikes.

What skills and training do you  need?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field;
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in AI-focused technical roles, including architecture, machine learning solution design, and deployment at scale;
  • Proven experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments, with emphasis on modular, reusable architectures;
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms and orchestration tools, including Dataiku for AI workflow development and Snowflake for cloud-based data operations;
  • Familiarity with containerized environments, model lifecycle management, and MLOps best practices;
  • Experience managing and technically guiding a team of data scientists;
  • Strong background in integrating and evaluating third-party AI products and services;
  • Agile/SAFe delivery experience in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment;
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Dataiku DSS, Snowflake SnowPro, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or MLOps tools) are considered strong assets;
  • Bilingual (English required; French is an asset) to support global and regional collaboration.
